The Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner (PFCC) for Essex is inviting residents from across the Chelmsford district to attend a public meeting to learn more about crime and community safety in their area.

The meeting will take place on Monday 3rd March at the Civic Centre, Duke Street, Chelmsford, Essex, CM1 1JE from 7pm to 8pm.

Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner Roger Hirst will be joined by panel members from Essex Police, Essex County Fire and Rescue Service and Chelmsford Community Safety Partnership.

All people who live and work in Chelmsford district, including Boreham, Writtle and Great and Little Waltham and surrounding areas, are invited to attend and there will be opportunity for local residents to ask the panel questions on topics around community safety.

“Being able to hear directly from local communities is essential,” said Roger Hirst, Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner.

“This meeting is a valuable opportunity to understand your concerns and ensure we are working together to make Chelmsford a safer district.”

The PFCC holds a public meeting every year in each of the 14 districts of Essex.
