People living and working in the Brentwood area who have an interest in community safety matters are invited to a public meeting being held by Roger Hirst, the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner for Essex. It is being held at the Hutton Community Centre in Harrison Close, Hutton, CM13 1LP between 6.30pm and 8pm. Details of current crime trends and on-going operations will be discussed at the meeting. People going along can also ask questions and raise any concerns. Roger Hirst said: “I welcome the opportunity to meet with local residents and I would urge anybody who wants to have their say on community safety issues in the area to come along.” Jane Gardner, the Deputy Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner for Essex, District Commander Chief Inspector Lewis Basford plus representatives from Essex County Fire and Rescue Service and the local Community Safety Partnership will also be attending the event.
