Officer visibility and anti-social behaviour (ASB) were topics discussed at the PFCC public meeting for Basildon district on Tuesday night.

Police Fire and Crime Commissioner Roger Hirst hosted a lively discussion on crime and community safety at the PFCC public meeting for Basildon district.

The meeting took place on Tuesday, 25th February, from 7pm to 8pm in Conference Room 1, Barleylands, near Billericay.

PFCC Roger Hirst was joined by Area Manager Mark Eaglestone ECFRS, Ch/Insp Dan McHugh of Essex Police, Ch/Supt Chris Bradford of Essex Police and Julie Long and Lisa Hopcroft of Basildon Community Safety Partnership

“Being able to hear directly from local communities is essential,” said Roger Hirst, Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner. “This meeting was a valuable opportunity to understand your concerns and ensure we are working together to make Basildon a safer place.”

The next PFCC Public Meeting is for Chelmsford district which is taking place on Monday 3rd March at the Civic Centre on Duke Street, Chelmsford, 7pm to 8pm.

All residents and businesses of Chelmsford district are welcome to attend.
