Essex Police today welcomed 68 more officers into the force during its first passing out parade of the decade. You can read more here: https://www.essex.police.uk/news/essex/news/news/2020/january/essex-police-welcomes-the-first-new-officers-of-the-decade/ Our Deputy Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner Jane Gardner was on hand to congratulate them all at the ceremony. The passing out parade is the culmination of 18 weeks intensive training before the new officers go out on patrol to serve our communities; helping people, keeping them safe and catching criminals. Their arrival is another achievement against the priority in our Police and Crime Plan to #MakeADifference and provide more local, visible and accessible policing to protect Essex.
