Southend Public Meeting – Tuesday, January 23, 2018

Roger Hirst, the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner for Essex, is holding a public meeting in Southend.
Residents with an interest in policing matters are welcome to come along. As Mr Hirst is the first Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner in the country, people can also ask questions about Essex County Fire and Rescue Service.
The meeting is taking place on Tuesday, January 23 in the Jubilee Room at the Civic Centre, Victoria Avenue, Southend, SS2 6ER, between 6.30pm and 8pm.
Details of current crime trends and ongoing operations will be discussed at the meeting by a panel of community safety leaders which will include Mr Hirst, Deputy Police and Crime Commissioner Jane Gardner plus representatives from Southend Police’s Command Team, Essex County Fire and Rescue Service and the local Community Safety Partnership.
Roger Hirst said: “I welcome the opportunity to meet with local residents and I urge everyone who wants to have their say on community safety issues in the area to come along.”
