Targeted PFCC Essex investment in ASB hotspot patrols highlighted in new video

A new video highlights the positive impact from targeted PFCC Essex investment in extra ASB hotspot patrols and interventions in Epping Forest district.
The PFCC Essex has invested £103,523 of ASB Hotspot funding in extra community safety patrols and interventions in Debden Broadway. This funding, alongside funding from partners, has resulted in 592 extra hours of police patrols and 555 extra hours of community safety patrols in the Debden Broadway hotspot zone.

Since data-driven targeted ASB Hotspot funding commenced in 2023, The PFCC Essex has invested £2.7m in extra patrols and community interventions for 15 zones across Essex.

Since 2016 reported incidents of anti-social behaviour in Epping have fallen by more than 70% and reported incidents of anti-social behaviour in Essex have fallen by more than two-thirds.
