Narrow rural pavements, car meets in the Cottis Lane Car Park and retail crime were topics discussed at the PFCC public meeting for Epping Forest district.

Police Fire and Crime Commissioner Roger Hirst hosted a lively discussion on crime and community safety at the PFCC public meeting for Epping Forest district.

The meeting took place on Monday 9th December from 7pm to 8pm at Thornwood Village Hall in North Weald Bassett.

PFCC Roger Hirst was joined by Ch Insp Terry Fisher of Essex Police, Group Manager Mark Eaglestone of Essex County Fire and Rescue Service and Caroline Wiggins of Epping Forest District Council.

“Being able to hear directly from local communities is essential,” said Roger Hirst, Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner. “This meeting was a valuable opportunity to understand your concerns and ensure we are working together to make Epping Forest a safer place.”

The next PFCC Public Meeting is for Uttlesford district which will take place on Tuesday 7th January at the Great Dunmow Arts Centre, 1 Haslers Lane, Great Dunmow, Dunmow CM6 1XS
