Hare coursing and domestic abuse under discussion at PFCC Uttlesford Public Meeting
Hare coursing, drug proliferation in rural areas and domestic abuse were topics discussed at the PFCC public meeting for Uttlesford district last night.
Police Fire and Crime Commissioner Roger Hirst hosted a lively discussion on crime and community safety at the PFCC public meeting for Uttlesford district.
The meeting took place on Tuesday, 7th January, from 7pm to 8pm at The Dunmow Arts Centre, Haslers Lane, Great Dunmow.
PFCC Roger Hirst was joined by Chief Inspector Martin Richards of Essex Police, Chief Superintendent Stuart Weaver of Essex Police, Carla Claydon, Community Safety Partnership Manager at Uttlesford District Council and Steve Wintripp, Group Manager, Essex County Fire and Rescue Service.

“Being able to hear directly from local communities is essential,” said Roger Hirst, Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner. “This meeting was a valuable opportunity to understand your concerns and ensure we are working together to make Uttlesford a safer place.”
The next PFCC Public Meeting is for Harlow district which will take place on Thursday 13th February at St John’s Arts and Recreation Centre (ARC), Old Harlow, CM17 0AJ from 7pm to 8pm.
All residents and businesses of Harlow district are welcome to attend.
