What the Strategic Board does

The Strategic Board provides governance and oversight of Essex Police Transformation Programme ensuring alignment with medium and long-term objectives. It advises the PFCC and Chief Constable on key decisions, oversees the Medium Term Financial Strategy, and ensures the programme is public-facing, reflecting the needs of crime victims and the wider public. It supports alignment with other public sector programmes, oversees the PFCC’s capital programme, scrutinizes project bids and capital disposals, facilitates financial governance, and advises on managing strategic risks.
