Witham residents invited to community safety public meeting hosted by the PFCC Essex and Witham Town Council

The PFCC Essex, working in partnership with Witham Town Council, will be hosting a Community Safety public meeting in Witham on Thursday 24th September 2026.
The meeting will take place at Witham Community Centre, Haygreen Road, Witham, CM8 1GT from 7pm to 8pm.
This public meeting is part of the PFCC's ongoing engagement schedule, where the PFCC hosts a public meeting each year in the 14 districts of Essex.
All Witham residents are welcome, no booking required, topics for discussion include:
- Illegal e-scooter use
- anti-social behaviour
- speeding and road safety
Roger Hirst said: “Public meetings like this are a vital part of how we stay connected with our communities. It’s a chance to listen, to share what’s being done, and to work together to make Witham an even safer place to live and work.”
The purpose of the meeting is for residents to raise community safety issues with the PFCC, Essex Police and Essex County Fire and Rescue representatives, along with Witham Town Council, and residents will be able to put questions to the panel.
Witham Town Council are working with the PFCC in partnership to host the meeting.
