Members of the PFCC team last night attended commemorations of the 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings.

The team attended the ceremony to mark the anniversary of the Allied Forces’ amphibious invasion in 1944.

The commemoration started at 8:30pm in Bellingham Lane, Rayleigh and ended in a beacon lighting ceremony at 9:15pm.

This event honoured the enduring spirit of peace that emerged from the darkness of that historic day.
